Homicide: Life On The Street
Homicide: LOTS, based on the nonfiction book Homicide; Life on the Mean Streets of Baltimore, depicted realistically the hardship, ugliness, and even the lighter side of being part of the "Murder Police". Here are three of my favorites. The first clip shows a creative side of getting a confession. The second clip, is probably the most realistic examples of an interrogation shown on TV, as Detectives Pembleton and Bayliss try to pry the truth out of the man they believed murdered a little girl. In the final clip, Robin Williams plays the dad to a young Jake Gyllenhaal, as they suffer the aftermath of a family vacation gone wrong.
